Mission

To develop and support telemedicine solutions to deliver health care, social services, and distance education for rural residents and providers in Washington County and elsewhere in Maine who are limited in access due to travel distances to providers: "Solutions for Connecting People Interactively".

Maine Telemedicine Services (MTS) evolved to meet the needs for leading teamwork between rural health care organizations and distant, more urban, specialty service organizations in developing and managing telemedicine programs, including installation support, protocal development, training, and troubleshooting for videoconferencing systems and network telecommunications.
